Comments : I have loved Scottish Deer hounds for years (been known to stop my Fire Appliance and talk to a lady walking a Deer Hound in Christchurch). We currently live with Maisie a Wolf Hound Deer/ Hound cross rescued through the RSPCA in Australia who is now 8. She is lovely natured and everyone loves her when they meet her especially on Sumner Beach. My wife is in CH CH looking after her father and I will join her when I retire in 3 years time. We will be living in the country as Jeanette as per usual already has a pony for driving. Looking after a deer hound will keep me active and engaged (you can't be anything else). So I look forward to following your page and contacting you later to begin finding the right deer hound for us.

Comments : I grew up with lurchers and other sighthounds in the UK and was so excited to see that there's a quality breeder of the Scottish deerhound in NZ. Maybe the scottish deerhound that I met on Mt Albert in Auckland not so long ago is one of yours?!

Comments : We had deerhounds when I was growing up. Back then they were just about impossible to get in NZ, my parents brought 2 over from Oz (they were supposedly descended from the Arkinglas deerhounds). Our last one lived till the ripe old age of 14!
